A Bounce is a someone that came to your website and then immediately left after only viewing a single page.
Your Bounce Rate is the number of visits that only included a single page view divided by total number of visits to your site over a given period of time expressed in a percentage format.
A Campaign is used to track visits to your website where traffic originates from specific advertisements, referring web sites, or promotional emails.
Campaigns are applied when a visitor first enters your site.
A Goal is used to track a specific task that a user is able to complete on your website, like making a purchase, spending more than 5 minutes viewing content, or accessing more than 6 pages on your site.
A goal may be completed at any point during the visitor's session.
A Hit is a page view on your website.
The Long Tail of Search refers to keywords that are less popular in overall search engine rankings, but more plentiful than high volume keywords.
A Session is the amount of pages a user consumes on your website in single sitting. A session times out automatically after a period of inactivity (usually 29 minutes).
A Visit is the audit trail of all actions a user performs on your website in a single session.
A Visitor is a person that views and interacts with your website.
